SWARM 2A: Anatomy & Physiology (7-12th Grade)

Coming in 2025

There is something elegantly beautiful about human beings that sets them apart from all other created beings.  Every single human being was not only made in the image of God but created on purpose for a purpose.  Not only does each structure within the human body have a purpose and a specific design but all their parts have purpose and design as well.  In this course we will explore these structures and become familiar with how each one of them were created on purpose to maintain homeostasis and the beautiful gift of human life we all have been given by our Creator.  Throughout the course we will delve into both anatomy, the structure of the human body and its parts, and physiology, the functions of the human body and its parts.  This course includes multiple dissections.

Course Description:

Instructor: Mary Wayda. Location: The Dalles, White Salmon, Carson,

Come and learn how to write with IEW’s easy to learn method of adding one new style or technique at a time.  It’s super easy and fun!  We will learn to write creatively with easy to learn techniques that make the days of the boring sentences like, “The cat is black.” disappear!

Students will be taught a lesson at each class and then will need to spend about 45 minutes a day finishing their writing assignment before the next class.  This timeframe varies greatly depending on the student.  It could take much less than 45 minutes a day over the remaining 4 days of the school week.  If parents wish to grade their children’s assignments, I will provide the IEW’s rubric, or I am happy to grade them for the students and provide feedback.

Parents will need to purchase their student’s IEW workbook.   Currently, they are $35.00
