Come and learn how to write with IEW’s easy to learn method of adding one new style or structure at a time. It’s super easy and fun! We will learn to write creatively with easy to learn techniques that make the days of the boring sentences like “Jane runs fast.” disappear!
Students will be taught a lesson (and play fun review games) at each class and then will need to spend about 45 minutes a day finishing their writing assignment before the next class. This timeframe varies greatly depending on the student. It could take much less than 45 minutes a day over the remaining 4 days of the school week. If parents wish to grade their children’s assignments, I will provide the IEW’s rubric, or I am happy to grade them for the students and provide feedback.
Older students who are just beginning IEW or formal written compositions will learn a great deal from this class. Each parent can choose where their child fits best. I am happy to discuss or answer questions over the phone if needed.
Parents will need to purchase their student’s IEW workbook: Details coming soon.
